BIO recasts WuXi AppTec’s departure
Trade association says China CDMO ‘proactively’ ended membership

BIO has recharacterized the departure of WuXi AppTec from the trade association, changing the wording in a press release to state that the company had “proactively” ended its membership.
In a press released issued on March 13, BIO stated that it was “taking steps now to separate from WuXi-AppTec regarding membership in the organization.” BIO made an identical statement in a letter sent on March 13 to Rep.
