Sanofi vet Frank Nestle joins Deerfield as partner, CEO of 3DC

Deerfield Management named Frank Nestle partner and CEO of Deerfield Discovery and Development (3DC), succeeding Michael Foley, who will become CEO of Excelsior Sciences, a Deerfield portfolio company. Nestle was most recently global head of research and CSO at Sanofi (Euronext:SAN; NASDAQ:SNY).
EVP and CFO Anat Ashkenazi is leaving Eli Lilly and Co. (NYSE:LLY) to become CFO and SVP of Google and Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG), effective July 31. Ashkenazi held roles for 23 years at the company, becoming CFO in 2021. A search for her successor is ongoing. ...
