Patel joins Sana as EVP, CSO

Sana Biotechnology Inc. (NASDAQ:SANA) hired Dhaval Patel as EVP and CSO. Most recently, Patel had the same job titles at UCB S.A. (Euronext:UCB), which he joined after a decade at Novartis AG (SIX:NOVN; NYSE:NVS). In January, Sana presented early clinical evidence of efficacy for its hypoimmune, allogeneic CAR T therapy in blood cancer patients. 

Marea Therapeutics Inc. could be signaling plans to go public in the near future with its hiring of CFO Ian Clements, who took Mirum Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:MIRM) public in 2019.
