Shaun Grady to chair AstraZeneca UK

Shaun Grady will become chair of AstraZeneca plc (LSE:AZN; NASDAQ:AZN) in the U.K. Grady has been with AZ since its inception, starting his career as a lawyer working for Imperial Chemical Industries, the pharmaceutical division of which became Zeneca Group plc in 1993. He moved from the company’s legal department to business development in 2006, becoming leader of its business development operations a decade ago and taking on his current role of SVP, business development operations in 2019.
