Flagship Pioneering hired Junaid Bajwa as senior partner, head of U.K. and science partner for pioneering intelligence — the VC’s initiative to leverage AI/ML to accelerate innovation. Bajwa was chief medical scientist at Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ:MSFT) and is a general practitioner with U.K.’s National Health Service.
Citigroup promoted Sumit Khedekar, Nishant Jadav and Michael Guarino, three of its healthcare investment bankers. Khedekar is now head of healthcare globally. Jadav is global head of healthcare services, and Guarino has Jadav’s old role as head of healthcare services in North America. All three joined Citigroup in 2022. ...
