SOBI to propose David Meek as chair

Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB (SSE:SOBI) will propose David Meek as chairman at the company’s upcoming extraordinary general meeting in December. Meek is a board member of Cullinan Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:CGEM) and chair at uniQure N.V. (NASDAQ:QURE), and was CEO of Mirati Therapeutics Inc. for two years until 2023. If confirmed, Meek would succeed Annette Clancy, who became chairman in January following the resignation of Bo Jesper Hansen.
Seaport Therapeutics Inc. hired Lauren White as CFO — an appointment that could signal the neuropsychiatric play’s intention to go public. White was CFO of ImmunoGen Inc., which was acquired by AbbVie Inc. (NYSE:ABBV) for $10.1 billion.
