Raining on biotech’s parade — the mood from London: a Perspective

Big uncertainty is overshadowing the positives for biotech following Trump’s election result

London’s icy wind with bouts of rain this week was perhaps more nature reflecting mood — pathetic fallacy — than anyone needed during the Jefferies London Healthcare conference and London Life Sciences Week. That’s not to say there are not a lot of great things happening in biotech. But the anxiety following the U.S. election is inescapable. And the one thing CEOs can do is look after their people, and acknowledge that their staff are having the same jitters as their business peers.
