Serial entrepreneur Chuan He and colleagues from University of Chicago developed a method to detect cellular RNA targets of non-coding small nucleolar RNAs (snoRNAs), and uncovered a snoRNA-based mechanism that controls protein secretion that could be tapped for therapeutic and biomanufacturing applications.
