Casdin to succeed Cox at Epirium

As San Diego-based Epirium Bio Inc. becomes a clinical company, it is elevating COO Alex Casdin to CEO on Jan. 1, succeeding Russell Cox, who will become executive chair. Epirium said FDA has cleared an IND for MF-300, an orally administered, 15-hydroxyprostaglandin dehydrogenase inhibitor to treat sarcopenia.
