Investors with deep China roots lead NewCo surge, inspiring Western VCs

In the race to capitalize on Asia’s “NewCo Model,” a pair of investors with deep roots in China have been the most active since the trend began four years ago. The concept has now gone global, with more than 50 other investors from outside of Asia drawn by the rapid rate and high quality of innovation they can find there, including top firms from Europe and the U.S.
