Gut bacterial metabolite targeting NOX2 for abdominal aortic aneurysm
The bacterial microbe Roseburia intestinalis and its metabolite butyrate could help treat abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) by inhibiting neutrophil infiltration and NOX2-dependent neutrophil extracellular trap (NET) formation.
