Engineered oncolytic virus expressing APOA1 for glioblastoma

An oncolytic adenovirus encoding APOA1, the ligand for the ABCA1 and ABCG1 cholesterol efflux receptors, could help treat glioblastoma (GBM) by decreasing cholesterol accumulation in tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs), thus increasing tumor cell phagocytosis.
