Epitope-specific, nanobody-based CAR T cells targeting B7-H3 for solid tumors

CAR T cells targeting the extracellular IgC domain of the transmembrane protein B7-H3 using a camelid single domain antibody (“nanobody”) could help treat solid tumors.  

In bioinformatic analyses of public cancer patient datasets, B7-H3 mRNA and cell surface protein expression were increased in multiple cancer types compared with corresponding tissues from healthy patients, and high B7-H3 expression correlated with worse overall survival compared with low expression in pancreatic cancer and neuroblastoma.  ...
