Activating ID3 in macrophages for anti-tumor immunity

Activating ID3, a lineage-determining nuclear factor on macrophages that decreases transcription of the phagocytosis-inhibiting receptor SIRPA, could help treat cancer by promoting phagocytosis of live tumor cells, and increasing proliferation and activation of NK and CD8+ T cells.
